Xiaomi Starts Android TV 9.0 Pie Update for its Mi TV Lineup in India
Xiaomi has started rolling out Android TV 9.0 Pie to a couple of its Mi TV models in India, and appear plans to update the entire lineup in the coming weeks. After originally announcing the update on Thursday, the company earlier today provided more specifics, saying that two of the models, the Mi Television set 4A Pro 32-inch and Mi TV 4C Pro 32-inch, will start getting the update with immediate effect. The development has also been confirmed past Xiaomi India MD, Manu Jain, who said: "Mi TVs will start receiving Android Television receiver 9.0 update starting today".

Equally for the other models, they volition offset receiving the new software in the coming days. In a recent tweet, Xiaomi Republic of india Production Support Executive, Sudeep Sahu (@laurelsudeep), said: "Mi Tv 4A Pro /4C Pro Android TV ix.0 update roll out has started. All other Pro series models are planned to receive this nine.0 update later on".
The newer models in Xiaomi's Mi Tv portfolio in India include the Mi LED Tv 4A Pro 43-inch, Mi LED Goggle box 4X 55-inch, Mi LED TV 4A Pro 49-inch and Mi LED TV four PRO 55-inch, and while all of them are expected to go the latest software, there's no give-and-take on when that might happen.
Remarkably, Xiaomi has as well confirmed that some of the older Mi Goggle box models, like the Mi Tv set 4A 32-inch and Mi TV 4A 43-inch, will also go upgraded to Android Telly ix, with closed beta testing for the software already underway.
